Family Letter
Available with or without chalkboard oval (family name can be painted on chalkboard oval in Monogram option.) Ribbon may vary. Suitable for protected outside door or indoor use, varnished MDF, and two coats of chalkboard.
A few tips for care of your Chalkboard Love purchase:
1. Use regular chalk - the chalkboard pens will not erase. Use a damp cloth to erase.
2. If you are hanging your piece outside and it will be exposed to heavy rain, cover the back and sides with a water-based polyurethane. The front is already protected and will not need any more coats. Remember to bring your piece inside during a storm or heavy wind. (They have survived tornados but I wouln't chance it!)
3. Don't worry about fading - hang your piece in sun and enjoy. If you do use a command strip to hang, do watch the gum that attaches to the door, they have been reported to melt.
