Striped Christmas Star with Chalkboard
27" x 16.5". Ribbon may vary. Suitable for protected outside door or indoor use, varnished MDF, and two coats of chalkboard.
A few tips for care of your Chalkboard Love purchase:
1. Use regular chalk - the chalkboard pens will not erase. Use a damp cloth to erase.
2. If you are hanging your piece outside and it will be exposed to heavy rain, cover the back and sides with a water-based polyurethane. The front is already protected and will not need any more coats. Remember to bring your piece inside during a storm or heavy wind. (They have survived tornados but I wouln't chance it!)
3. Don't worry about fading - hang your piece in sun and enjoy. If you do use a command strip to hang, do watch the gum that attaches to the door, they have been reported to melt.
